New electric motorcycle Brekr Model B e-moped launched
The bike’s designers created a 1.9 kWh battery pack for the Brekr Model B. That means the electric motorcycle can get between 50-80 km (31-50 miles) of range on one single battery, or double when holding dual batteries.

These batteries are built from 18650 batteries and weigh 10 kilograms (22 pounds) each. It lasts for five hours of continuous use and comes with a two-year warranty.
The battery is located low in the battery box mounted largely below the main aluminum frame. The seat raises to allow the battery to be removed for indoor charging.

Its suspension consists of dual coil shocks that run parallel to the main frame member. Combined with an inverted front fork, that gives the Brekr Model B full suspension information.
The electric scooter will also come with GPS functionality and smartphone connectivity. It has features like anti-theft GPS tracking as well as remote data and vehicle diagnostics.

The entire bike weighs just 62 kg (137 pounds) with a single battery. That makes it one of the lightest electric motorcycles on the market.
Brekr has not shared any information regarding the power ratings of that rear hub engine. The Brekr Model B is being offered in two different low-speed variants: 25 km/h (15.5 mph) and 45 km/h (25 mph). It doesn’t take too much energy to get to those speeds.

About the price, production and distribution of Brekr Model B
The Brekr Model B was designed and assembled in the Netherlands, but not entirely manufactured there. Some key components such as batteries are locally made. Meanwhile, other parts like the frame are made in Taiwan.
This new electric motorcycle has a full price tag of €3,890. And it will not be until spring 2020 at the earliest to reach customers. The Brekr Model B will be limited to sales in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, but will expand to other countries, according to EMN.
Customers can use the online configurator to customize certain elements of their brekr, such as the colors of certain parts and accessories. Brekr plans to develop a program for customers who want further customization. In the Netherlands, however, the official designation by law is “vehicle class l1e” and a helmet is required for top speed.
